Thank you. Now please join us!
Let’s build a community of corporations that will upgrade the next generation — in a way we all want to hire from.
Your name travels with us all season.
We run festivals right through the festival season, and our sponsors come with us to every one of them. This is not a logo on a page nobody visits — it is your business in front of a crowd, repeatedly, all summer.
Represented at every festival
We do many festivals all through the season. Your business is represented at all of them — not the one you bought, all of them.
On all our fliers
Every flier we print for every event carries our sponsors. The same fliers that go out across Raytown and Kansas City.
On all our team shirts
Our team wears your name while they work the event. Walking, talking signage, on people the crowd is already talking to.
And the association itself. We are known for equipping Kansas City’s next generation of workforce. Standing beside us and with us means you are investing in the entire community, one youth at a time.
If we can keep students off the streets and passionate about what they are doing, it raises the quality of not only the human being, but the families, the neighborhoods and the communities we all live in.
Supporting us supports YOU.
The discount network — entirely optional
You are not required to offer a discount to a fellow corporate sponsor. Nobody is going to ask you to cut your margins as the price of joining.
But if you choose to, it will bring more people through your door — students and their families, and other businesses in the network looking for a reason to pick you over someone they have no connection to. It costs you a margin and buys you traffic, and it is what turns a list of sponsors into a community that actually trades with each other. See membership for how the levels work.
You will see the scores before you hire.
To be plain: we are not placing students with employers yet. The classrooms are not built, and nobody gets sent to a job until they have been properly trained. Finishing the building is what stands between here and there.
Here is what it looks like once it is running. Every student goes through a skill set test, and as a corporate sponsor you get to view those scores — and alongside them, what that student is passionate about and which field they want to work in.
So you will not be reading a résumé and hoping. You will be hiring someone who loves what they are learning, with evidence of how well they are actually doing it. That is a different bet entirely — and it is the reason to get involved now rather than once the pool exists.
What they scored
The skill set test results, so you can see the standard of the work rather than take our word for it.
What they love
What they are passionate about, and the field they want to be in. People do their best work there.
First pick
Sponsors will get first pick at hiring within our networks, before the pool is open to anyone else.
It will run through a private portal, and only there. Once we have students, corporate members get a portal to hire from — scores, fields of interest and availability in one place, rather than a stack of forwarded résumés.
Our students will never be listed publicly. No open job board, no profiles a stranger can browse. Many of them are young, and some are in care — they are found in the corporate membership portal or nowhere. That is a protection for them, and it is why membership is the only way in.
The portal does not exist yet, because the students do not yet. Both arrive when the building does.
Three companies already in.
Each one is its own business. None of them is A.I.M., and A.I.M. is not any of them — they chose to stand behind it.

Coba’s Creations
Partners with A.I.M. on fundraising events — from small fundraisers through to city-wide festivals — raising money for other businesses and nonprofits.

Artistic Trades & Renovations
Trades and renovations.

KC Art Van Gogh
An art studio in Raytown — pottery, painting, epoxy resin and wood working.
And one nonprofit we work alongside.
A partner is a different relationship from a sponsor. Emerald City Makers does not fund A.I.M. — we work together, and each of us can do things the other cannot.
Emerald City Makers
A new nonprofit in Raytown, and our partner for making things: CNC machines, 3D printing, t-shirt and banner printing, business cards, fliers, cups and swag bags — anything a business needs to market itself.
They also have a heart to teach children 3D printing — and those children plan to give the toys they print as Christmas presents through the holiday season. Learning a machine, and then using it to give something away.
We are looking for nonprofit partners too.
Not to compete with — to refer to. As we serve, we want to send clients to you. Connect with us and tell us what you do, so that when someone walks through our door needing something we do not offer, we know exactly where to send them.
We send people your way
Tell us what you do and who you serve. We meet people every week who need something other than what we offer.
Our festival program, for your cause
Our festival program gives a nonprofit access to everything needed to run its own fundraiser — without buying or renting any of it yourself.
What comes with a festival
- Bounce houses
- Tables and chairs
- Balloon twisters
- Concessions
- Face painters
- Food trucks
We cannot change this alone.
A weak workforce is not one company’s problem. Every employer in this city feels it, and no employer fixes it by themselves. We have to come together — and we have to begin by educating the youth.
Let’s equip our youth in such a way that you will want to hire them. That is the whole proposition. Not charity — the workforce you are going to need, trained on purpose, by the people who are going to employ them.
Sponsor A.I.M. and your business becomes known as part of the change. Monthly membership, a one-time gift toward the building, materials, equipment, or trade labor on site — whatever your company actually has.
This changes ALL of Kansas City.
